First journal in MONTHS, but I just had my first nightmare in YEARS. Pretty strange yet pretty real.

I was in a parking lot with my family and we were in two cars. In one car was My parents and my sister, and in the car I was supposed to drive was and a woman who I think was a person who comes by my house often... (I dunno, it was a dream lol. Maybe cuz she's like family ) I climbed into my car through the floor of the hood (Again, it was a dream) and my foot slid against the brake. I guess in this dream world. the brake and gas switch places because I look up and the car is going at full speed. I see that I am rapidly aproaching a black family with kids who are having a picnic in the parking lot for some reason. I start freaking out that I'm about to hit them, when the car stops 2 feet away from the family. The father shoots me a look like I had done it just to freak them out. The car starts slowly rolling back as I have a mini panic. Then I woke up panting.

What do you guys think? Am I just nervous about getting my own car? Am I scared of parking lots? Am I afraid I may kill a minority? I think the lesson here is: Never climb into your car through a non-existent door.
